Factory Leather Kits

Our factory-fit leather kits are cut and designed specifically for your vehicle's make, model, and year. The result is a leather interior that fits the way the manufacturer designed the seat, with clean edges, properly positioned seams, and a finished look that is difficult to distinguish from a factory leather option.

Custom Leather Configurations

Beyond a straight kit swap, we offer fully custom interior designs including dual-tone color combinations, custom stitching patterns in contrasting or matching thread, perforated leather panels, Alcantara inserts, suede accents, and custom logo embroidery. The customization options are extensive, and we work through the details with you from the start.

Custom Leather Interiors for Virtually Any Vehicle

One of the most common questions we hear is whether a specific vehicle qualifies for a custom leather interior. The short answer is that our leather kit suppliers produce fit-specific kits for an extensive range of makes and models, which means the vast majority of vehicles on the road today are supported.

Daily drivers, commuter sedans, family SUVs, and pickup trucks are all well within scope. The brands we partner with have become widely used in the professional automotive upholstery industry specifically because of the breadth of their vehicle catalog. From a Chevrolet Silverado to a Honda Pilot to a Toyota Camry, the fit is engineered for your specific vehicle rather than adapted from a generic pattern.

Luxury and performance vehicles are equally at home in our shop. If you are driving a BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, or a domestic performance vehicle and want a cabin that matches the exterior investment you have already made, we have the materials and the skill to make that happen. Custom builds for these vehicles often incorporate Alcantara panels, contrast stitching, and perforation patterns that elevate the interior well beyond the factory configuration.

If you have any question about whether your specific vehicle is supported, reach out before you book. We will confirm compatibility and walk you through exactly what is available for your make and model before your consultation.

What to Expect From the Custom Interior Process

Every paint correction at Exquisite Car Design follows a structured process designed to deliver consistent results from the first step to the last.

Consultation and Design Review

The process begins with a consultation where we review your options in detail. You select your leather type, color, stitching pattern, and any custom accents you want included. For custom builds, we work from client-provided renders to confirm the design before any materials are ordered.

Kit Ordering and Preparation

Once the design is confirmed, your custom kit is ordered directly from our leather supplier. Production and shipping for a custom kit typically takes approximately one week. Standard factory kits may be available more quickly depending on availability.

Installation

Installation is performed at our Birmingham shop and typically takes approximately two days to complete properly. Rushing a leather installation produces visible results, and that is not how we work. Every panel is fitted carefully, every seam is aligned, and every edge is finished cleanly before the vehicle is returned.

Final Walkthrough

Before you take delivery, we walk you through the completed interior together. This is your opportunity to inspect every surface, ask questions, and confirm everything meets your expectations. We provide care recommendations for your new leather so it stays in excellent condition for years to come.

Custom Leather Interior FAQ

  • Will a leather interior kit fit my vehicle correctly?

Our leather suppliers engineer their kits to fit specific vehicle makes, models, model years, and seat configurations. That means the kit for your vehicle is not a universal pattern being trimmed to fit. It is cut for the exact seat shape, headrest style, and panel layout of your specific vehicle. The result is a finished installation that looks and sits exactly the way the manufacturer intended, just in premium leather instead of cloth or base vinyl.

  • Can I get a partial leather swap, or does it have to be the full interior?

Partial conversions are available. Some clients choose to do the front seats only, while others prefer to include the rear seating surfaces as well. We discuss the scope of the project during your consultation so you can make the choice that fits your goals and your budget.

  • What customization options are available?

We offer a wide range of customization options including color choices, dual-tone combinations, stitching patterns, perforated panels, Alcantara and suede accents, and logo or emblem embroidery. During your consultation, we walk through everything that is available for your specific vehicle and help you build the configuration you want.

  • How long does the process take?

For custom kits, plan for approximately one week for the kit to arrive after your design is confirmed, followed by approximately two days for installation at our shop. Total turnaround from consultation to completion is typically around one to two weeks depending on kit availability and scheduling.

  • How long does paint correction take?

The Enhancement is typically completed in approximately one day. The Rejuvenation generally requires additional time depending on vehicle size and defect severity. A clear turnaround estimate is provided when you book.
